What Is A Pre-Shoot?
A pre-wedding shoot is a free option included with our full day & half day wedding photography & videography packages. You have a choice of taking the pre-wedding shoot if you are within our 40 mile radius limit, or you may meet with us via video call. Pre-wedding shoots are really to get you used to being in front of the camera pre-wedding day, but also to get used to us as your photographers and how we work together with you, we will usually discuss the big day and the plans as well. If you are out-with our mile limit we offer the video call, to get to know us and for us to also get a feel of what you're expecting from the big day, we will usually run through timings (always estimated ;) ) and also what vibe you're going for as well.
We always look forward to meeting up with our couples whether in person or via the video call!
What Do You Charge?
We have several packages to suit each budget, Each couples wedding is different so we send a price guide according to what you require, in the "get a quote" section please let us know your budget and we can tailor a package to your needs. We do encourage you to check out our "Package" pages to see which package suits your requirements for your special day. We can also send you our pricing guide via email, and we can discuss the package that best suits you both best!
Why Do You Charge What You Charge?
We love doing what we do! Unlike a lot of photographers when booking our photography packages, you are booking 2 photographers, there will always be a second shooter, which means you will get double the amount of photos at all different angles and perspectives. We are also working hard for up to 8-12 hours plus, so we don’t miss a thing. After your special day, there is lots of work done behind the scenes to make your photos, video or both perfect so we are proud to deliver. I myself (Jess) do all the editing, which can take up to 4 weeks plus, We love and take pride in what we do, we know how much work goes into your day and bts, a lot of photographers charge at lot more however we believe our prices are justified based on the work that goes into making sure your photographs are what you've always dreamed of.
How Long Will My Photos + Video Take To Arrive?
As mentioned in the previous question, I do all our own editing, i do not employ someone else/third parties to edit for us. All our work is by either Sandy or myself. This however means i take pride in each and every photo, i make sure everything in your pictures are to the highest standard, this may mean it takes a little longer than you might have anticipated. I always send solo & family edited pictures within the week or two after your wedding, the rest however can be between 6-8 weeks depending. I will continually keep you updated as the weeks go on. as per the video editing is a lot more thorough, depending on how many videos are booked with us it can be up to 8-12 weeks. (we take our time to make sure everything is perfect!! ;) )
Can We Meet Up?
Of course we can! We would love that, if you have booked a full or half day your package includes either a free pre-wedding shoot where we will meet in person depending on location, however if you can't make it because of distance etc, we could meet over zoom, facetime or even meet up for a coffee if you'd prefer.
